Do you love managing client relationships in a fast-paced technical environment? Do you possess first class project management skills? Want to work with a fantastic range of businesses and organisations including M&S, Pepsico and BP? If so, then you could be just the person we're looking for.

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Learning Platforms team. Our projects focus on configuring, customising and integrating open source Learning Management Systems (Totara, Moodle) to meet our client requirements.

On a day to day basis you'll:

  • Ensure that our open source web solutions are delivered to customers on-time and to budget
  • Work closely with our customers to understand their business drivers and develop effective working relationships
  • Estimate, plan and manage projects from start to finish, with sufficient contingency built in at key milestones

It's essential that you have:

  • A proven track record of successful project implementation in a software development environment and of delivering multiple, concurrent projects
  • Experience of the whole project life cycle from conception through to delivery
  • Experience of leading small project teams of around 4-6 people, with the ability to foster motivation within the project team to meet deadlines
  • Excellent client facing skills and the ability to influence key decisions

  • Work closely with clients to understand & analyse their LMS requirements, through discussions, system walk-throughs and documentation 
  • Design solutions to meet these requirements, through a combination of existing functionality and customisations
  • Create functional specifications & configuration documents, covering aspects as site architecture, role profiles, contextual diagrams, user journeys and mock-ups

We’re looking for someone to work alongside our sales team in the planning and development of proposals (bids) and presentations, to help maximise our chances of winning business and hitting our sales targets.

The role primarily entails resourcing of proposals and presentations – maintaining our central bid resource planner and liaising with our production teams regarding resource availability – and co-ordinating/attending bid planning meetings to plan bid approaches. Although Brighton based, the job involves regular contact with our bid and sales teams in the US, Australia and New Zealand, as well as the UK.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have proven project management skills and experience in software development, preferably elearning. But above all, the role is about having a positive, flexible, can do and customer-centric attitude to getting things done.

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and talented Client Services Manager to join our Client Services team, with responsibility for a variety of accounts.

In this role you’ll proactively build and manage client relationships, ensuring a wide variety of hosting and support requirements are understood and met to the highest standards. You’ll have accountability for customer satisfaction, retention and profitability, meaning commercial awareness, clear communication and a tenacious, can-do attitude will all be key to your success.

You’ll be joining a friendly and supportive team, working out of our Brighton HQ in close collaboration with the Sales, Learning Content and Learning Platforms teams.

We're currently looking to increase our inbound marketing activities - and we need someone to undertake the key function of measuring, analysing and optimising our marketing activities and performance.

The main purpose of this role is to help plan, manage and control our inbound marketing campaigns, using data-driven intelligence to drive effective acitvity across a variety of marketing channels.

As the data/web analyst, you'll work in the marketing team to produce actionable insights which will drive future marketing activity. You'll be very familiar with Google Analytics (or similar) and PPC advertising, and will be comfortable undertaking site, campaign and customer analysis to evaluate success and drive optimisation programmes.

Your time will be split between reporting on our website visitor data and paid search campaigns and providing insights/analytics for specific marketing campaigns using appropriate analytics tools. These insights will help us to ensure appropriate ROI on all marketing activities and further consolidate our position as a global leader in learning solutions.

The role can be based in either Brighton or London depending on individual requirements, although there will be a need to travel between offices on occasion.

We're looking for experienced learning consultants and designers (both freelance and permanent) to support or growing consultancy and design team in a varied mix of consultancy assignments and design projects. We'd love to hear from you if you're looking for new opportunities to help customers find great solutions, and work with us in using exciting new technologies.

For the Designer roles:

  • You’ll work consultatively with clients, our sales team, and the learning content/elearning team
  • Precise duties and responsibilities will vary according to your experience and particular role but include scoping content, designing treatments, and scriptwriting
  • At least 1 year's experience of elearning and/or virtual classroom design is required
  • Strong communication skills are essential

For the Consultant roles:

  • You'll work consultatively with clients, our sales team and the learning content/elearning team, providing strategic advice and setting projects up for success
  • At least 3 year's experience of elearning and blended design is required

The Solutions Consultant role is the key to City & Guilds Kineo’s successful relationships with clients, because our client relationships start with you.

You’ll be the person who goes to see our existing and prospective clients, to understand their challenges and goals. You’ll put the ideas together for how we can partner to meet those challenges and then you’ll present the proposed solution to win the opportunity to make it our next new project. You’ll work with our production teams to ensure they’re involved during the process – and you’ll stay involved to ensure successful delivery to our client’s objectives. 

It’s a sales role - you will have a target, and you’ll be well rewarded for achieving it and going beyond it. But we don’t want just ‘traditional salespeople’. We want people who are passionate about learning and technology, and who ideally have first-hand experience of designing, developing, managing and implementing solutions. 

You’ll be great at communicating, both in proposals and pitches, and at tradeshows and marketing events. Ideally you will know the elearning and/or the LMS industry well, and will build relationships within it. You’ll be competitive and be thrilled by winning new opportunities to work with our clients. You’ll be great at building relationships with clients and making them feel loved.
