We are looking for a tester to work on a range of projects for our growing list of high profile clients. You will work on a wide range of elearning projects, ensuring that each project is free of errors and meets our clients expectations.
Our projects are fast moving, and we need a dynamic and flexible individual to join the expanding testing team. You'll carry out a range of tasks associated with the testing and/or proofreading of elearning materials, websites, portals and project documentation.
This will include:
- Reviewing deliverables to ensure that they are fit for purpose
- Proofreading a range of elearning content/scripts/project documentation or other materials
- Testing content to ensure it works as expected in a range of operating systems, internet browsers and mobile devices
- Testing content for adherence to accessibility standards, which may include using screen-reading software and other automated tools
- Testing content to ensure it works as expected within a Learning Management System, and meets the technical standards specific to that LMS, such as SCORM conformance

Day-to-day, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining custom themes on Moodle and Totara, troubleshooting issues with existing themes, and advising other members of the team on best practice in regard to front-end development. You will work collaboratively with other members of the team, including server-side programmers, graphic designers, solutions architects and project managers to achieve project goals, to share knowledge & ideas, and to develop your own skills further.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone with an interest in Education and Learning Management to join our Learning Platforms team as a Training Consultant and become an expert in Learning Management Systems (LMS). You will work closely with our clients, ensuring effective design and delivery of training for Totara, Moodle and other solutions developed by the Learning Platforms team.
You will be a highly motivated, self-starter with excellent client facing skills, with the ability to talk technical to non-technical audiences. Ideally you will have some experience with training needs analysis, design and delivery, and picking up new technologies will be both exciting and easy to you. You’ll be able to manage your time effectively, and above all have a passion for providing excellent customer service.

The Solutions Consultant role is the key to City & Guilds Kineo’s successful relationships with clients, because our client relationships start with you.
You’ll be the person who goes to see our existing and prospective clients, to understand their challenges and goals. You’ll put the ideas together for how we can partner to meet those challenges and then you’ll present the proposed solution to win the opportunity to make it our next new project. You’ll work with our production teams to ensure they’re involved during the process – and you’ll stay involved to ensure successful delivery to our client’s objectives.
It’s a sales role - you will have a target, and you’ll be well rewarded for achieving it and going beyond it. But we don’t want just ‘traditional salespeople’. We want people who are passionate about learning and technology, and who ideally have first-hand experience of designing, developing, managing and implementing solutions.
You’ll be great at communicating, both in proposals and pitches, and at tradeshows and marketing events. Ideally you will know the elearning and/or the LMS industry well, and will build relationships within it. You’ll be competitive and be thrilled by winning new opportunities to work with our clients. You’ll be great at building relationships with clients and making them feel loved.
