London-based

We're looking for a keen, engaged, efficient team administrator to work with City and Guilds Kineo's Qualifications and Accreditation team in London.  CGK is the part of the City and Guilds Group that provides customer-facing services from Qualifications and Accreditation through to Learning Technology solutions and Consultancy. It's a busy environment with a committed and fun team to work with and you will be the one who makes their lives smooth and calm. 

You will provide administrative support to the management team and broader Commercial team as required as well as acting as a point of contact for customers and, responding to and support the resolution  of any issues quickly and professionally, maximising their customer experience.

You will have experience in admin support and/or customer service and be confident with handling internal and external queries with a professional manner. You will be able to prioritise and manage your time - sometimes having to adjust depending on the priorities of the team and their customers.

You will have experience in managing and improving administration processes and preferably some experience of using SAP or similar accounting software at a basic level. Experience of co-ordinating meetings, travel, accommodation, events admin support along with general team administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate as a point of contact for clients, and be used to responding to and solving client issues quickly and professionally, optimising their customer experience.
  • Handle and filter all aspects of high level communication, including confidential correspondence, with discretion and diplomacy to ensure the smooth running of the division.  
  • Manage and co-ordinate Senior Leadership team diaries (including appointments travel arrangements, meetings, conference calls) ensuring the team can be fully productive and well organised at all times.
  • Maintain and implement appropriate administration processes and documentation to the smooth running of the department
  • Undertake specified project tasks in order to support the function/project team and contribute to successful project implementation. This will include supporting the team with customer contact and in researching and approaching future clients and supporting info to support reviews & client meetings
  • Act as a SAP Requisitioner for Finance, including processing invoices and Goods Receipting.
  • Co-ordinate arrangements for internal/external meetings, including sourcing and managing venues, managing information flow (including briefs), making travel, accommodation & catering arrangements so that the meetings are productive and effective for all those involved.
  • Support the business’ marketing and event admin including making sure that events are organised and supported effectively including organising the team attendance.
  • Proactively build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, and inter internal and external customers to reflect the values of the organisation.

What will you be doing?

We are looking for Solutions Architects to join our Learning Platforms team. You’ll be working in a project based environment, figuring out how best to customise and configure Totara and Moodle LMS’s to meet our client requirements.

On a day to day basis you’ll:

  • Work closely with clients to understand & analyse their LMS requirements, through discussions, system walk-throughs and documentation
  • Design solutions to meet these requirements, through a combination of existing functionality and customisations
  • Create functional specifications & configuration documents, covering aspects as site architecture, role profiles, contextual diagrams, user journeys and mock-ups

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Learning Platforms team. Our projects focus on configuring, customising and integrating open source Learning Management Systems (Totara, Moodle) to meet our client requirements. You will manage a range of projects with responsibility for resourcing, profitability, invoicing and achieving customer satisfaction.

It's essential that you have:

  • Proven experience of project management in a software development environment including budget and schedule management
  • Proven experience of working with clients and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver a solution

  • Experience of working in a technical environment

What will you be doing? 

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Learning Platforms team in Sheffield. Our projects focus on configuring, customising and integrating open source Learning Management Systems (Totara, Moodle) to meet our client requirements.

On a day to day basis you'll:

  • Ensure that our open source web solutions are delivered to customers on time and to budget
  • Work closely with our customers to understand their business drivers and develop effective working relationships
  • Estimate, plan and manage projects from start to finish, with sufficient contingency built in at key milestones
  • Manage, monitor and motivate the cross functional project teams
  • Help induct, coach, mentor and develop new Project Managers
  • Work closely with Solutions Consultants to share specialist knowledge with the Bid team, advising on feasibility, pricing, timeframes and risks for proposal work
  • Project or Programme manage large complex Platforms projects or cross team projects where required ensuring a seamless working relationship with the platforms, content and client team

Brighton-based

We are looking for a software tester to join the Learning Platforms Division in Brighton.

You’ll be testing customised instances of Moodle and Totara to ensure releases to our clients are fit for purpose and bug free. More specifically you’ll be responsible for creating test scripts & test data, carrying out both functional and cross-browser/platform testing and writing user documentation.

You will ideally have at least 1 years’ experience of application software testing in a commercial environment. Alternatively, you may be a recent University or College graduate with a technical qualification, such as computer science, or have covered software testing or software development.

We���������re looking for a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves and get things done Project Coordinator to support our project managers as maternity cover in the learning content (elearning) team in Brighton.

You'll be working with our project teams providing administrative and other support to deliver elearning solutions that meet our clients' requirements, budgets and timelines.

As well as ensuring the budgets and schedules are accurately maintained, you’ll also manage the workflow of tasks between the members of the team; ensure all key stages of the project and project communications are properly documented; organise the logistics of photo shoots and audio recordings; support translations and generally ensure good housekeeping and compliance with our ISO quality standards.

You’ll need to be a great communicator, well organised, and able to juggle concurrent projects competently. Ideally, you’ll have experience of working on media or technology-based projects, or even elearning.
