The Solutions Consultant role is the key to City & Guilds Kineo’s successful relationships with clients, because our client relationships start with you.
You’ll be the person who goes to see our existing and prospective clients, to understand their challenges and goals. You’ll put the ideas together for how we can partner to meet those challenges and then you’ll present the proposed solution to win the opportunity to make it our next new project. You’ll work with our production teams to ensure they’re involved during the process – and you’ll stay involved to ensure successful delivery to our client’s objectives.
It’s a sales role - you will have a target, and you’ll be well rewarded for achieving it and going beyond it. But we don’t want just ‘traditional salespeople’. We want people who are passionate about learning and technology, and who ideally have first-hand experience of designing, developing, managing and implementing solutions.
You’ll be great at communicating, both in proposals and pitches, and at tradeshows and marketing events. We have an exciting new position for a PHP Developer to come and grow their skills with us in the Learning Platforms team at City & Guilds Kineo.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented developer who has a good grounding in programming principles and best practice. You will have at least a year's experience working on software development projects, with a good understanding of server side programming using PHP 5 and OOP, as well as knowledge of XHTML, CSS and MySQL/PostreSQL. Above all, you’ll be passionate about technology and eager to develop your skills with a leading employer in the learning and performance industry.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well organised project manager to join our Brighton-based MLS (Managed Learning Service) team. MLS helps employers manage apprenticeships in an efficient and innovative way, making the best use of learning technology to create a better experience and better results.
Working closely with clients such as Compass Group and Tesco, you’ll manage a number of projects ensuring they perform to margin, quality, and customer satisfaction targets. You will also support the MLS Programme Manager and the platform development team.
You’ll need excellent planning, problem solving and time management skills and be comfortable working with technology.
Successful applicants will have experience of the following:

We have an exciting development opportunity for someone with an interest in Education and Learning Management to join our Learning Platforms team as a Training Consultant and become an expert in Learning Management Systems (LMS). You will work closely with our clients, ensuring effective delivery of training for Totara, Moodle and other solutions developed by the Learning Platforms team.
You will be a highly motivated, self-starter with strong communication and client facing skills, with the ability to talk technical to non-technical audiences. You will have some experience of delivering training and an awareness of training needs analysis and training design. Above all, you’ll be someone who finds learning technologies easy and exciting. You’ll be able to manage your time effectively, and above all have a passion for providing excellent customer service!
This is a development role, and you will have a thorough training period of around 3-4 months to get you up to speed!
