Melbourne CBD Based

Are you an experienced digital instructional designer who's ready to take a step up? Got the magic touch to guide other designers and liaise with clients to create great elearning experiences? If so, we may have the perfect job for you...

We're looking for experienced learning design specialists to join our team in our Melbourne, Australia office. We bring fresh thinking to elearning, and we are looking for you to do the same. Working with top global brands, you'll be guaranteed an interesting and challenging portfolio of work. The role is split between hands-on instructional design work, and guiding a small but experienced team of designers - so it's the perfect mic to ensure you're constantly stimulated.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • At least 5 years experience in an elearning or digital creative/educational writing position (experience as a senior/lead instructional designer is a huge plus)
  • Highly enthusiastic, flexible, and dynamic individual comfortable working in a fast-paced growth company, on multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Excellent skills in managing both internal and external stakeholders, both locally and in geographically dispersed project teams
  • Capable of taking initiative: making recommendations on the best approach in terms of scoping, design and scripting, and following through with action
  • Proven high level instructional design skills, ability to identify an engaging and effective design approach to achieve project and learning objectives; ability to apply/develop sound instructional models (samples of design work required)
  • Excellent writing skills, with proven ability to write a range of technical, instructional, educational materials in a variety of contexts, in a range of tones and styles (writing samples required)
  • Excellent proofing, editing, and high level review skills with impeccable eye for detail
  • Well-developed ability to deliver critical feedback in a constructive and development focused manner
  • Ability to work well with a project team consisting of instructional designers, graphic artists (including illustrators and animators), project managers and client stakeholders, with the support of the learning solutions manager
  • Ability to provide direction to graphic artists, voice talent, actors, photographic models, as necessary to ensure that multimedia created for projects aligns with the original intent
  • Ability to tailor behaviour and approach to varying situations and working styles
  • Strong IT capabilities in range of MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), comfortable learning new applications
  • Able to travel nationally and internationally as required
  • Experience in developing rapid authoring tools (not essential)
  • Please note this is a permanent full time position.

We're looking for an experienced eLearning Project Manager to join our rapidly expanding team based in Melbourne, CBD. We bring fresh thinking to elearning and are looking for you to do the same. Job Purpose: 

  • To manage the day-to-day running of projects to the satisfaction of clients and to meet Kineo's budgeting and quality standards
  • To achieve customer satisfaction by managing projects and project teams to deliver high quality products and services on time and to budget

  • Minimum 3 years' demonstrable experience in digital project management work

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience developing products in the digital space (specific elearning experience an advantage)
  • High proficiency with HTML & CSS
  • Familiar with JS (bonus points for experience with YUI3)
  • Comfortable around Flash with some AS3
  • Excellent Photoshop Skills
