Win a Ticket to Learning@Work

Kineo Pacific, Gold Sponsor at Learning@Work, October 27 - 28, at the Australian Technology Park in Sydney, is giving one lucky member of the L&D community the chance to win a free ticket to the Learning@Work- for free!

This year's Learning@Work theme is "Climbing the Learning Curve", which is becoming steeper and steeper for L&D Managers, with new technology shaking up the L&D world, prompting new solutions and challenges for learning and development departments.

The Learning@Work Conference Showcases case studies from top Australian and international companies, as well as the public service sector. Attendees will learn how leaders in Learning& Development are approaching the challenges facing their departments.

So You Want to Win a Ticket to Learning@Work? Here's How:

Recently, Steve Rayson, co-founder of Kineo, said that one of the biggest challenges for L&D departments, is proving value

"Businesses are driving down costs to remain competitive which means budget scrutiny is increasing. Everyone is under pressure to prove their value including learning departments. Learning interventions have to demonstrate they can drive "behaviour change" and make an impact on performance. It is not good enough to simply cut costs - L&D departments must deliver value. In my view, this means working consultatively with the business to design learning that is rooted in real business challenges. Learning that is based on real scenarios and resources that can be used on the job. Learning that is design in close consultation with staff in the field and utilising managers and peers to deliver and support learning to make it real and applied."

So in a time when learning departments are under pressure to prove value, training budgets are getting slashed, it's more important than ever to deliver more with less.

To win a ticket (valued at $895) to the Learning@Work Conference and Exhibition, we want you to share with us your creative tips on how L&D departments can maximise their use of resources to support the business and change behaviours. Whether you have big budgets or small, or know what it's like to have your budgets cut in half - let us know what you've done to prove value of your learning initiatives and maximise results. Just leave your comments in the field below for your chance to win - it's that easy!

But hurry - you have until October 19th to submit your answers to be considered for the free ticket to the Learning@Work Conference. The winner will be emailed shortly thereafter.
