City & Guilds Kineo Announces Elearning Apprenticeship Academy

City & Guilds and Kineo has announced plans to launch a new Elearning Apprenticeship Academy. The initiative will build on City & Guilds’ heritage as the UK’s leading provider of apprenticeships and qualifications. The aim is to create a unique programme of learning and qualifications for new entrants to the elearning industry.

City & Guilds is developing a multi-year elearning apprenticeship programme, to be supported by the new Academy, which will develop key skills across the entire elearning production process including:

  • Learning design
  • Elearning development (IT technical)
  • Project management
  • Programming
  • Graphics and animation
  • Quality assurance

City & Guilds is keen to develop the apprenticeship programme and academy in collaboration with the wider industry. City & Guilds and Kineo are inviting interested organisations to contact them to discuss the initiative, whether interested in designing the programme or providing apprenticeship opportunities.
