City & Guilds Kineo Launched at Tate Modern

On 17th September over 80 clients and friends attended an event at the Tate Modern to celebrate the launch of the forthcoming City & Guilds Kineo company. There were a number of key announcements at the event including:

  • City & Guilds Kineo will launch the first UK Elearning Apprenticeship Academy with new qualifications mapped to national standards
  • Sponge and Learning Pool will be joining City & Guilds Kineo in their Adapt open source authoring tool project
  • The City & Guilds Kineo company will be offering a range of new services including an Apprenticeship+ programme for employers
  • The launch of a new brand and forthcoming website for City & Guilds Kineo
Chris Jones, CEO and Director General of City & Guilds commented “At City & Guilds we have a history of over 135 years of designing high quality learning.
