Ta-da. We did it! We're really proud to announce that we won at the New York World's Best TV and Film Awards 2016. Up against some very stiff competition from over 50 countries, the Barclay's 'Audit Risk Appetite' 3D motion animation has been given a silver award.
More on the award
New York Film Festival’s World’s Best TV & Films competition celebrates excellence in film across 16 categories, covering a vast range of categories from music videos to experimental film and broadcast programming. With entries from all four corners of the globe, the competition is highly regarded within the industry for honouring excellence in television and film. The film, created in partnership with Zing and Barclays, was up for nomination in the 'internal films' category.
In under 3 minutes, the film needed to grab attention and deliver core messages about auditing to 600 Barclays employees. An important subject for banking, it needed to hit home, fast – into the heart and the head of the audience.
Designed to stand alone and work as part of a wider blend, Kineo and Zing collaborated to produce a bold, visually striking animation that captures the imagination of the audience and provides a compelling, personal message.
Snapshots from the film
To make the messaging loud and clear to the predominantly technical audience, we took a metaphorical approach to auditing.
Created using real props in a photographic studio, the 3D visual styling is sophisticated yet purposefully pared-down for sharp, clarity of communication.
Zing, Barclays and all of us at Kineo are really pleased with this fantastic recognition of our work. Thanks to all involved for making it happen.
