>> 1. Kineo guide: Podcasting reviewed (with Ufi/learndirect) + Donald Clark podcast

Kineo and Ufi/learndirect have teamed up to create a series of free guides on key issues in learning and technology. The idea is to share insights, experience and good practice on a wide range of topics to benefit the whole learning community. The first one is a practical guide to podcasting: practical uses, steps to making it happen, case studies and future directions. Of course, you can’t write a guide about podcasting without doing a podcast (well you could, but people would laugh and call you names). That’s why we returned to Donald Clark, board member of Ufi, to get his insights on why organisations should be including podcasting in their kitbag.

>> 6. Kineo dinner: The menu rapide revealed….

On a balmy evening in April, the great and the good of e-learning gathered high above the rooftops of London to break bread – and maybe a few e-learning conventions – at the first Kineo dinner.

Guests from Reuters, Virgin Media, Marks & Spencer, Ufi/learndirect, BP and RBS sat down with us at the Babylon restaurant above the Kensington Rooftop gardens and peruse. The sun stayed out well into the evening, as did we. Our menu rapide (thanks, yes we’re quite proud of that) of discussion topics generated a lively debate.
