Hi,

Welcome to the ‘We can’t believe it’s not May anymore’ May issue. Yes, we got a little busy and the end of the month kind of blew right passed us. It’s a good complaint to have…we’ll try not to use it again.

Let us make it up to you with a free guide on marketing rapid e-learning, tool survey results with some great insights from a guest commentator, and a new case study of one the clients that keeps us busy enough to miss the end of the month: Cable&Wireless.

Enjoy this month’s update and get in touch if you’ve got ideas for future newsletters.

Best,
Stephen

1. Free rapid guide: how to market rapid e-learning

You work hard to create great e-learning. But now it’s time for the real hard work - how are you going to get learners as switched on to it as you are? What’s your marketing plan? This month, we share a free Rapid Guide to make selling that sizzle just a little easier.
Download the free Rapid Guide here.

Kineo’s full set of over 30 Rapid Guides are now available as a special offer at the Rapid E-learning store.

2. Case study: rapid e-learning at Cable&Wireless

One organization that knows how to market rapid e-learning is Cable&Wireless. In the start of a new series of case studies on rapid e-learning, we share insights into how we’ve partnered with C&W to transform how learning gets done in the business.
Read the case study here.

3. Tools round-up: survey results and free tool ideas

Last month we asked you to share your needs for rapid e-learning authoring tools as part of our survey. You came back with some clear ideas. One of them was ‘more free stuff’. Why not? We asked Jane Hart, Queen of free tools, to comment on the responses with some ideas for getting more for less out of tools. Read the survey results and free tool ideas here.

4. Market update: view from the US

So how’s that recession doing? Is e-learning holding up or feeling the strain? Steve Rayson takes a look at the state of the e-learning union. Read this month’s update here.

5. Show report: Learning and Skills Group

Last month we reported live from the newly founded Learning and Skills Group in London. Now that we have a few weeks’ perspective, we report on how the event went, and how it has the potential to be a great community of professionals supporting each other. Click here.
