And for the honeymoon, why not come to Orlando, where we’ll be at ASTD from 22nd-25th May? It’ll be packed with Princesses (mainly Cinderella and Ariel, sure – but let’s not get picky). With top tips, market updates and more, it’s like your own e-learning street party. And who wouldn’t want one of those. Case study: ARAMARK: blended learning for the world’s most admired company ARAMARK is a leader in professional services, providing award-winning food services, facilities management, and uniform and career apparel to health care institutions, universities and school districts, stadiums and arenas, and businesses around the world. With 255,000 employees, and the title “World’s Most Admired Company” bestowed by Fortune Magazine, how do they maintain a world-class workforce? We’re happy to say that a blended approach from Kineo is part of the answer. Our new case study this month explores how we collaborated with the ARAMARK team to reduce time to competency and engage managers on a key interviewing skills programme.
2. Audio interview: making mobile learning work – view from Clark Quinn Mobile learning: Everyone’s talking about it now, but who was talking about it 10 years ago? Clark Quinn is who. We caught up with Clark to talk about realities of making mobile learning work in practice, and what effective design for mobile learning really means. Watch out for more on mobile learning in future newsletters. Listen in (on your phone, of course)
3. Royal Yachting Association – case study update, more great results A few months ago we were delighted to crack the champagne bottle on the side of our new e-learning and Moodle solution for RYA. Since launching, the programme has received some rave reviews and feedback from RYA’s customers, with 95% of learners rating it at 4 stars and higher. We’ve updated our case study to share it with you.
4. Kineo community: Making webinars work Following the release of our updated Virtual Classroom white paper last month, we asked you to share your views on running webinars and virtual classrooms effectively. Once again we had a great response with some excellent advice on what to (and what not to) do to make your webinars work. We’ve plucked the best of your comments to share in our Kineo community update this month. You like to talk – we love it.
5. Top tip: 3D or not 3D? We’ve been looking at some 3D approaches recently for learning. Why go down the 3D route, and what benefits can it bring? We share our thoughts in boring old 2D.

7. Market update: A tale of two markets It is the best and worst of times, depending on what kind of training you’re doing. The corporate market for e-learning is booming. The traditional face to face training market isn’t. Why the Dickens has it happened? Let’s have a look in this month’s market update.
