Not that much stands still in the learning technologies world at any time of the year. Just ask O2 – how do you deal with rapidly changing requirements and five-day deadlines for e-learning? We’ve been working with O2 to answer that question within our rapid e-learning partnership. This month we share insights into how we’ve worked at speed to deliver results, in our new case study. We’re delighted to say that we’re not the only ones who think this partnership has been successful. We’ve been shortlisted for Rapid E-learning Project of the Year for our work with O2 at the E-learning Age awards – and we’ve been shortlisted in three other categories too, including E-learning Company of the Year once again. We always say we’re not in it for awards – but it’s great to be nominated, as they say in West Hollywood. Elsewhere we pick through IT Training Magazine’s e-learning survey of the top performing UK companies. It’s great to see ourselves up there at number two. With top tips, interviews and more, we’re not sitting back to see what happens. Keep the changes coming... Stephen

1. Case study: O2 and Kineo’s rapid e-learning partnership The challenge to move fast doesn’t come much bigger than for mobile providers, and our partnership with O2 is an example of rapid e-learning delivery at its best. In this month’s case study, we look at why traditional methods didn’t work for O2, how we developed a process to deliver e-learning in five days or less, and the new direction rapid e-learning is taking. Also, congratulations to the team at O2 for being nominated as E-learning Internal Development Team of the Year, based in part on the work we’ve done together.
2. Audio interview: Jane Bozarth on social media for learning Social media? Sounds great. Two questions though – what is it; and what does it mean for learning? Because social media isn’t limited to tools like Twitter and Facebook – but can actually include real conversations – Kineo's Cammy Bean had a chat with Jane Bozarth, author of a great new book on social media for learning. Get some answers (then tweet about it, of course!) right here.
3. Top tips: Bringing the learner into the design One of the great things about social media is how it can help bring the learner in to contribute and share – and make the design better. That’s what we look at in this month’s top tip. Read more of our top tips here.
4. Market update: IT Training Magazine’s e-learning survey – who’s in the top 10? We read with interest (well, we would) the latest e-learning market survey by IT Training Magazine. We’re pleased to see that we’re growing strongly against a generally flat bespoke market in the UK. We take a look at the movers and shakers in this month’s market update.
5. Kineo Moodle update: Moodle and performance management, LMS market shake-ups There’s been an interesting acquisition in the LMS market, and it’s once again raised the topic of how talent and performance management relate to the LMS. This month we talk talent management and what Moodle can offer. Find out what’s going on, here.
6. Kineo book club: Beyond Bullet Points Do you want to get beyond the bullet point? Afraid of what you might find? Cliff Atkinson’s new book, 'Beyond Bullet Points: Using Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 to create presentations that inform, motivate, and inspire', is worth a look. Although it’s geared toward the live, stand-up presentation, it has a lot that one can apply towards self-paced, asynchronous e-learning programs. Read our bullet-free review here.
7. Kineo news: Four E-learning Age nominations; Upcoming webinars and conferences; Now hiring E-learning Age Award nominations E-learning Age has just announced the shortlist for its awards and we’re delighted to announce we’ve been shortlisted in four categories:
