We're looking for experienced learning consultants and designers (both freelance and permanent) to support or growing consultancy and design team in a varied mix of consultancy assignments and design projects. We'd love to hear from you if you're looking for new opportunities to help customers find great solutions, and work with us in using exciting new technologies.
For the Designer roles:
- You’ll work consultatively with clients, our sales team, and the learning content/elearning team

Brighton or Sheffield based
City & Guilds Kineo are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic elearning developer to join our award-winning elearning division’s production team.
Day-to-day, you will be responsible for the build of responsive HTML elearning courses – which will be created mainly using the Open Source Adapt Learning framework.
You’ll be working with elearning designers and graphic artists to make their designs a reality, supported in your work by a highly-skilled team of front-end developers and programmers, project managers and testers.
- Awareness of accessibility standards and practices

Our development team is in demand and, to keep up, we’re looking for a Middleweight and a Senior Web Developer to join our dynamic, fast-paced team.
Day-to-day work involves customising Moodle and Totara Learning Management Systems and working with variety of supporting technologies to meet our clients' requirements. Development tasks include building plugins and enhancements, implementing 3rd party system integrations, and fixing bugs.
The Senior Developer role also requires experience in taking the lead on complex projects where you will be expected to provide technical leadership.You will be:
- An expert at object-orientated programming (not necessarily in PHP - we're happy for you to cross-train)
- Knowledgeable about web technologies and web systems integration
- Skillful at producing clean, robust and reusable code

The Solutions Consultant role is the key to City & Guilds Kineo’s successful relationships with clients, because our client relationships start with you.
You’ll be the person who goes to see our existing and prospective clients, to understand their challenges and goals. You’ll put the ideas together for how we can partner to meet those challenges and then you’ll present the proposed solution to win the opportunity to make it our next new project. You’ll work with our production teams to ensure they’re involved during the process – and you’ll stay involved to ensure successful delivery to our client’s objectives.
It’s a sales role - you will have a target, and you’ll be well rewarded for achieving it and going beyond it. But we don’t want just ‘traditional salespeople’. We want people who are passionate about learning and technology, and who ideally have first-hand experience of designing, developing, managing and implementing solutions.
You’ll be great at communicating, both in proposals and pitches, and at tradeshows and marketing events. Ideally you will know the elearning and/or the LMS industry well, and will build relationships within it. You’ll be competitive and be thrilled by winning new opportunities to work with our clients. You’ll be great at building relationships with clients and making them feel loved.
