Kineo wins Brandon Hall award for blended leadership program
Coats plc, The Oxford Group and Kineo have been recognized with a Brandon Hall Bronze Award for Best Blended Program 2014. The prestigious industry award recognizes Coats' Management Capability Development Program (MCD) developed in partnership with Kineo and The Oxford Group.
The MCD is a two-year blended leadership program, which incorporates a smart use of technology, while also building in appropriate face-to-face time, mentorship and support. Targeted towards mid-level and front-line managers all over the globe, the curriculum creates shared language, skills and competencies, essential towards building a world-class manufacturing organization.
The blended program includes:
- Short e-learning modules focused on eight core leadership competencies with complementary activities that extend the learning
- Cohort groups that provided peer-to-peer sharing and support
- An interactive LMS with discussion forums
- Coaching sessions and consolidation webinars to summarize learning and provide a spring board for actionable next steps
As of August 2014, the solution has been rolled out in 7 continents to 300 managers, with many more cohorts launching in 2015. Feedback on the program has been positive with 99% of participants believing the program has helped them be a better leader.
